About set@16

We are a small group of parents with a range of lived experience of harms to our children and with professional backgrounds that are relevant to the position we are taking.

We believe that the best way to safeguard children from the harms of smartphones, social media and AI is to ensure governments agree to a minimum age set@16 for access to smartphones, social media and AI.

We are very aware that these products are extremely useful, convenient and a vital part of adult life. However, children need different rules.

We need to apply the precautionary principle.
